Equipment: Small bowl, matcha whisk or milk frother and 400 ml glass

Ingredients

Use level 5 ml teaspoons and weigh ingredients where grams are given.

Method

  1. Sift matcha into a bowl. Add 15 ml of the warm water and whisk into a smooth paste, then whisk in the remaining 35 ml until lightly foamy.
  2. Stir sweetener and vanilla into almond milk.
  3. Fill the glass with ice, pour in vanilla almond milk, then slowly add matcha. Stir before drinking.
  4. Taste and add 1–2 extra drops only if desired.

Sugarless Liquid Sweetener

4 drops give the sweetness of 1 teaspoon of sugar. Use the supplied dropper. Eight drops equal 2 teaspoons of sugar in sweetness; 12 drops equal 3 teaspoons.

Storage & ingredients

Best served immediately; do not prepare the whisked matcha far ahead.

Allergens: Almonds. Contains caffeine.

Use unsweetened almond milk and vanilla extract with no added sugar.
