Ingredients

Use level 5 ml teaspoons and weigh ingredients where grams are given.

Method

  1. Steep tea bags in 120 ml freshly boiled water for 4 minutes, then remove without squeezing. Add water to restore the brewed tea to 120 ml if needed.
  2. Stir in 12 drops of sweetener. Cool the jug in a cold-water bath, then chill if making ahead.
  3. Put ice in the serving glass. Add cooled tea and almond milk and stir.
  4. Taste cold and add 1–2 extra drops if needed. Serve without syrup or tapioca pearls.

Sugarless Liquid Sweetener

4 drops give the sweetness of 1 teaspoon of sugar. Use the supplied dropper. Eight drops equal 2 teaspoons of sugar in sweetness; 12 drops equal 3 teaspoons.

Storage & ingredients

Keep brewed tea refrigerated for up to 24 hours; assemble with ice just before serving.

Allergens: Almonds. Contains caffeine.

Use unsweetened almond milk. Dairy milk adds lactose, a naturally occurring sugar.
