Ingredients

Use level 5 ml teaspoons and weigh ingredients where grams are given.

Method

  1. Combine flour, cocoa, sweetener, baking powder and salt in the mug. Break up every cocoa lump.
  2. Add almond milk, oil and vanilla. Stir to a smooth batter, reaching the corners and bottom. The mug should be less than half full.
  3. Microwave on high at 1000 W for 60 seconds. If the centre is still liquid, cook in 10-second bursts, usually up to 90 seconds total.
  4. Stand for 2 minutes. The surface should be set and the inside cooked, with a soft cake crumb. Eat warm.

Your sweetener

Sugarless Organic Stevia

½ level teaspoon gives the sweetness of 1 teaspoon of sugar. Use the named Sugarless blend and weigh the amount in this recipe; pure stevia extract is not interchangeable.
